Specializations: Playwriting, English Teacher Education (pedagogy and methodology), Young Adult fiction

Most Recent or Most Important Publications: Pizza With Shrimp On Top, a play published by Dramatic Publishing, nominated for the 2007 Distinguished National Play Award for the Middle and Secondary School Audiences by The American Alliance for Theatre in Education (AATE); short story, “The Zoo,” won Runner Up for the 2013 Walker Percy Prize for Short Fiction. Recent stories have appeared in Bohemia Art & Literary Journal, Every Day Fiction, Black Heart Magazine, and Linguistic Erosion, and a ten minute play featured in the February 2013 issue of Eleveneleven Arts and Literary Journal. Levy’s young adult novel, WAISTED, is currently being circulated by an established NY publishing agency.
